We continue to search for new partnerships and funding opportunities that will allow us to introduce more programs, training opportunities, and events in regions across British Columbia. We are also pleased to have had the opportunity to connect with a number of communities in the Kootenays over the past two years through our partnership with BC Adaptive Snowsports.
In 2016/17, we provided training workshops in Cranbrook, Fernie, and Invermere, for teachers, support workers and other community members interested in learning more about supporting individuals with autism. Additional workshops are planned for 2018-19 and we look forward to continuing to develop relationships in a number of communities in Eastern BC.
